Clayton PDF Quilt Pattern (Download)

$13.00

Clayton is a modern-traditional design inspired by the traditional Clay’s Choice block. Originally created as part of the Quilt Block Remix Challenge, I took the original block and added half-square triangles and swapped the solid squares around to create a whole new look.

What’s especially fun about this pattern is how different it can look depending on the placement of your fabrics. See page 3 of the pattern for examples of six layouts using the same colors in different places.

—Includes six sizes: King (102" x 102"), Queen (85" x 85"), Twin (68" x 85"), Throw (68" x 68"), Lap (51" x 51"), and Baby (34" x 34")

—Downloadable pdf (no physical items will be sent). PDF can be viewed digitally or printed on 8.5" x 11" paper.

—Includes thorough instructions and figures, additional color-palette suggestions, and blank coloring pages for each size to help you design your own quilt.

Do not copy, sell, or distribute the pattern without written consent. Quilts made from the pattern can be sold by small, independent sellers, but design credit should be given to Jessica Schunke / Blue Sky Modern Craft.

The lap quilt sample was pieced by Christine Boyd. All samples shown were longarm quilted by Lilo Whitener-Fey of Trace Creek Quilting. The quilting pantographs are (throw) Twinkle Toes by Karlee Porter, (lap) Firefly by Crystal Smythe, and (baby) Onion Skin 2 by Melissa Kelley of Sew Shabby Quilting.
